The Association of Game Websites is an organisation that I co-founded in late 2009 which seeks to improve the standard of volunteer-run videogame websites.
CountryEx is my final year project for university. It’s an online stock trading game in which players trade in countries instead of companies. It’s currently in development and will be launching in the first half of 2010.
Since I started Thunderbolt in 2000, it has grown into one of the leading independent videogames websites on the Web. We have around thirty volunteer staff writers from around the world and together we’ve written nearly three million words.
I rebuilt our content management system at Thunderbolt in 2008, updating the whole system from scratch. The site itself is private, but you can read about it in the case study below.
As part of my role as the Web Editor at Impact Magazine, I redesigned the entire website in April 2009.
